Experiences How it Works About FAQs

About this experience

The Fine Dining Experience is for exceptional cooking, polished service and restaurants worth making a special trip for. The card can be used at selected high-end restaurants, tasting-menu destinations and acclaimed hotel restaurants across the UK. It is broader than Michelin Dining because a restaurant does not need a current Michelin star to qualify, but the overall standard is deliberately much higher and more gastronomic than our general restaurant experiences.

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose their experience

Pick the kind of gift you'd like to give and choose the card value.

  2. 02

They choose where to enjoy it

The recipient chooses from the participating places available for their experience.

  3. 03

    Pay with their Monoola Card

They use their prepaid Monoola Card to pay at an eligible venue, up to their available balance.

Not tied to one place. You choose the experience; they choose exactly where to enjoy it.

What's not included

  • Restaurants not included in the eligible venue list
  • Accommodation or other hotel services unless the relevant merchant is separately eligible
  • Travel to and from the restaurant

Questions about this card

Any remaining balance stays on the Monoola Card and can be used at any eligible venue until the card's validity period ends — there's no need to spend it all in one visit.

A digital Monoola Card is delivered by email almost instantly once ordered. A physical Monoola Card is sent by post and typically arrives within 5 working days.

It works like a prepaid Visa or Mastercard, preloaded with the gift value you choose. It's restricted for use at the eligible places listed for this experience, rather than accepted absolutely everywhere.

Both give the recipient the same balance and the same eligible places to spend it. A digital card (service fee …) is delivered by email and ready to use straight away. A physical card (service fee …) arrives as a beautifully presented card by post, usually within 5 working days.
